Who are you God? And who am I?

‘And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”’ Matthew 28:17–20

Where God resides, is where the Holy Spirit resides — deep within us. As we reflect upon our encounters with God’s creation each day, have we asked ourselves, where is God in these experiences? Who is God? And in these moments, have we ever asked ourselves. who are we, as we immerse ourselves in our daily lives?

As People of God, we ought to be curious. Just like children who are often inquisitive, should we not ought to also marvel each day at what God brings to us?

This is where we open ourselves to the Holy Spirit and allow the Spirit to guide us.

God is good. In spite of our flawed beings, God loves us, and in His grace, we are able to experience the joy and peace within us. God is beautiful and divine. As we experience God’s love for us, why not look deep within us, and find our inner child, to spread this love and joy to God’s creation as we interact with them every day in our lives?

See each and every person as a person, like a child would do. Not to judge and not to put a label on them.

Be open to experiencing God in each of these encounter and know who we truly are just a little better each day as we perform our daily examen. Embrace God’s gifts for us so that we can also share this gift around.

Blessed Trinity Sunday.
